Adequate Insurance

Although the Council of Management have insurance in place, our insurers have provided a list of hazardous activities which are excluded from the available cover.

If the event or activity you are planning falls into one of these categories the Booking Secretary will need to have a copy of any insurance documentation you have or are planning to arrange, which will be passed to our insurers for review before the hire can be booked. The information on the list below is for guidance and is not exclusive, so if you have any doubts you should raise these with the Booking Secretary before booking.

The following activities are excluded from the Council of Management Insurance Policy and our insurers advise us that this list is not exhaustive and in the event of doubt guidance should be sought from the Council of Management who will contact their insurers for further guidance.

If any of these activities, or other potentially hazardous activities are being run, the Council of Management will need to see evidence that that the hirer has adequate insurance in place.
